The New School’s College of Performing Arts partners with the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts to present an evening of performances created by students from Mannes School of Music and the School of Jazz and Contemporary Music.
As the culmination of an intensive semester of research and creative experimentation led by acclaimed saxophonist and composer Jane Ira Bloom, the students will create and perform original music and theater works, inspired by and incorporating materials from the library's archives.
